Sick Again
I felt better for a little less than a week, which was good because that was during Christmas week and we had a million things going on, but Saturday morning I woke up sick again. This time it's a chest cold with a bad cough. I've tried basically every cold medicine that the doctor said was safe for me to take (which isn't much) but nothing seems to be taking care of it. I just want to get in bed for about two days and hope I wake up feeling better...but obviously with having Tucker to take care of and Blake being on winter break that isn't an option. Tucker's got a cold too, so far his isn't as bad as mine and hopefully it'll stay that way.

I had a doctor's appointment this morning. The baby is measuring about a week bigger than he is so she scheduled an ultrasound for me on February 12th to check the baby's weight at that point and then based on that we'll schedule and induction shortly after that.

We have tons of Christmas pictures but haven't had time or energy to download them. Sooner or later I'll get around to it and post them.

Christmas Cookies
We had our big Christmas baking day last weekend and Tucker had his first ever Christmas cookies. To put it mildly, he is a HUGE fan of cookies. He has probably eaten a dozen of them himself and gets really excited if he even sees the container they're kept in.

The boys are getting excited about Christmas. Today was Blake's last day of school until after New Year's. Tucker gets really excited over anything holiday related. If he sees a snowman we have to sing Frosty the Snowman, if he sees a tree we have to sing O'Christmas Tree, if he sees Santa or anything Santa related he goes "ho ho ho!". He goes around the house pointing to the Christmas decorations going "La La La La" and dancing until we start singing a Christmas song with him. He's at such a fun age.

Here are a few pictures from baking day and some after that of Blake's first basketball game of the season. They've had two games so far and have won both!

not such a great week
Well I've come down with a bad cold or the flu or something. Being pregnant, there's next to nothing that I can take for it so I just have to wait it out and suffer along the way. I'm all achy and tired and blah. To make this week even more fun, someone (I assume some stupid teenagers) decided to go on a vandalism spree in our area of town and busted out the car windows on over 40 cars...and yep, my car was one of them. They completely shattered my rear window and now my jeep in undriveable. In an effort to cut down monthly expenses recently, I canceled my comprehensive car insurance and went down to a basic policy...sooooooo now getting the window replaced is not covered and is gonna cost me over $300 out of pocket. Which means it's never gonna get fixed. Ugh. It's always something.

On a better note, the boys went to see Santa this past weekend. Tucker was very excited and was giggling and talking up until the point when I sat him on Santa's lap...then he totally lost it. LOL Blake asked Santa for a laptop and is convinced that Santa will bring him one. I've been trying to break it to him that Santa will in fact not being bringing a laptop this year but he still believes. Oh boy. Christmas morning will be really interesting when he doesn't find his laptop under the tree. Here are a few pictures from Santa:
