We have our big ultrasound Monday morning and if the baby isn't shy we'll get to find out if it's a boy or girl!!! I can't wait. I'm also nervous...just to find out that everything is healthy with the baby.
We have officially begun shopping for the baby and for the nursery. We got an amazing deal on a just like brand new crib and glider. And we're picking up a changing table Aaron bought from a coworker this weekend. Luckily all the furniture matches perfectly! Now we just need to hurry up and find out if it's a boy or a girl so I can decorate the nursery! We also got a great deal on a baby swing and baby carriage.

Our trip to Myrtle Beach was amazing. It was so great to get away and relax. We had great weather the majority of the time and did lots of fun things. Here are some pictures from the trip.
So I am 20 weeks along now...officially halfway! In one way it's been flying by but at the same time it seems like forever until November. On the way home from vacation we stopped at a really great outlet mall in NC and found some cute baby things at baby gap and carter's outlet for really cheap so we bought our first baby clothes! We got mostly neutral things since we don't know what the baby is yet...but Aaron picked out one baseball outfit that we had to have so we went ahead and got that too. I mean girls like baseball too, right?! LOL
So as the pregnancy goes on Blake is getting more and more excited. Last night he was telling me all the things he is going to teach the baby. He said he is going to cover him (yes him...Blake insists that this is going to be a baby brother) up with blankets, show him how to play with baby toys and teach him basketball. He has started talking to the baby through my stomach and likes to tickle my stomach because he is "tickling the baby".
He is also getting more and more curious. He understands that the mommy is the mommy because the baby is in her stomach. But he wants to know why the daddy is the daddy. "Because he's my husband" didn't seem to suffice. He gets more and more adventurous with his questions and sooner or later it's going to lead to "the talk". I'm not ready for that yet! How do you explain that to a seven year old!?!?!
Food craving of the week: still tacos. I cannot get enough of them! Man I wish there was a taco bell close to work!
